Pavilion II Utility Lines

It's not every day you walk into a Pavilion garden and see a gaping hole in the ground...

This looked like a pretty serious operation. A good amount of brickwork, shoveling and drilling must have been involved. Looks like it would have been noisy. A repair on a water pipe perhaps?

Does UVA keep a supply of perfectly matching bricks on hand for repairs such as these,
where bricks need to be torn out and possibly damaged in the process? The serpentine walls get repaired a fair amount, so the most logical answer would be yes, there is a secret brick stash somewhere near the Academical Village.
